Journalism
I love to cover communities. I have worked with the Washington Post, The Financial Times, Farm and Dairy, Ideastream Public Media, Cleveland Magazine, and Belt Magazine to tell the stories of how communities face challenges, heal, celebrate, and define themselves.
I’ve photographed several stories about the Haitian community in Springfield, Ohio - including embedding with migrants on election day 2024. I also spent a year covering the aftermath of the toxic train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio. I produced a photo essay about families who were displaced and temporarily relocated because of the wreck for Ideastream Public Media.
I’ve been documenting short track and dirt racing since 2020. In the summer of 2024 I produced a 5-part series of photo essays documenting short tracks in Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania for Farm and Dairy called “The Racing Report”.
My work with Cleveland Magazine features community celebrations including a frog jumping contest, mashed pototato wrestling, and a punk show at a Taco Bell.
